1. It radically changed the history of the world.
2. It validated all Jesus' claims relative to His being Messiah and God.
3. It constituted the greatest proof of His deity. (Rom. 1:4)
4. It gave a demonstration of the greatest power of God, His power over the enemy of sin and death. (Eph. 1:19-20)
5. It guaranteed the believer's justification. (Rom. 4:25)
6. It guaranteed the believer’s bodily resurrection (1 Cor. 15:25)
7. It became the central plank of Christianity, its unique message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus, as proclaimed by the early church. (1 Cor. 15)
