I'd Give Anything

A great pianist finished his concert and was greeting people as they exited the building. Many had great praise for his performance. One woman said to him, "I'd give anything to play like that."

The pianist stopped, looked her in the eye and said "No, you wouldn't."

The woman, taken aback, replied, "What do you mean?"

"All it takes," the pianist explained, "is a love of playing the piano and hours of practice."

In the Christian life, we may envy or admire the great heroes of faith. But we could have anything they had. All it takes is a love for Jesus and hours spent in prayer with Him.
