Titus 2:11–15 NKJV

2 Timothy 3:16–17 NKJV

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Righteousness Must be trained, it is not natural.

those of us that believe in spiritual things, who have experienced deliverance tend to think that is the norm.

I don’t know weather or not its the norm, but I know that people who are delivered from one thing are delivered from all things.

What if God intended us to learn dependence on Him from learning self-control?

We all come from the world. We all learned responses from the world.

1 John 2:15–17 NKJV

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Do not Love the word or the things of the world.

there is a cost too cool.

many of us don't realize that we want to be cool more than we want to be christ like.

lust of the flesh…

not Just sex..

anything! Nicotine, food, money, fame, fortune.

Lust of the eyes-

Pride of life.

Self-Control comes from walking in the spirit.

Galatians 5:16–17 NKJV

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

I walk in the spirit by controlling the gates:

EARS

MOUTH

FEET

HANDS

I Feed the spirit man.

I AM Accountable for my actions.

this is talking responsibility for my repercussion.

makings amends

looking at my part.
