Sin - the Consequences for man

God made his pronouncement of judgement on Adam in the Garden of Eden. "Your work(which brought pleasure to both God and man) will now be "toilsome" and "loathsome".
Winston Churchill stood in the wreckage of war-torn Europe, told the House of Commons, "I have nothing to offer you but blood, toil, tears and sweat..."
These words sound strangely reminiscent of the words of our Great God. Adam (man) stood in the wreckage and carnage of the Garden - a place once called "delight" (Eden). Because of sin, LIFE itself would be a struggle for survival, a battle against a world strangely reluctant to yeild its beliefs."
