I. Salvation and Holiness are the Work of God. (Eph.2:8-9)
A. Holiness cannot be measured by the act of sin, but by the life of the believer.
B. Holiness is synonymous with purity, which demands change. (Romans 12:1-2)
C. Holiness in salvation is wrought through the Spirit of God. (2 Cor.3:18)
II. The Mind of the Christian Differs From the Mind of the Unbeliever.
A. In Christ he is awake and live.
Eph. 5:14 “Wherefore He saith, awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee light.”
B. In the world he is dead and spiritually unaware.
Eph.2:1 “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.”
1 Cor. 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
III. The Authentication of the Divine Presence is Understood by the Individual.
A. Is He in You? (2 Cor.13:5)
B. Are you Born Again? (John 3:3)
