The Favor of Faith

Praise the Lord. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another study with new man Ministries. Thank you for joining us on let's go ahead and get into prayer that we may be able to dive into his word. Father we thank you for blessing us. So kindly today with an opportunity to be able to come in contact with the word that you have specifically for us. Thank you for your love the love of giving your son Jesus to Jesus. We want to thank you for the work that you accomplished in the person that you are and also for sending the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit. We want to invite you in this place right now and we want to thank you for what you have done in our hearts cause us to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ is our that we also may be changed in mind changes in heart chain reaction and we will be able to produce fruit that glorifies the father and expresses two others that he is who he says that he is we thank you for those things. You were doing even the shower in Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen. Today I want to do with something that I believe is the Crux of all Christianity when you think of Christianity a lot of people don't even know where to begin Abba Christianity. Can be summed up in a in a nutshell and I don't mean by definition but I mean in thought if you have a serious and a real grasp on these two things you can didn't move into their powerful way within the Christian walk and that is understanding the love of God. And not just that love that emanates from him, but that he himself is love and understanding that all he is commanding of us and I'll go into what that means to command of the drawers all the he's commanding of us is faith. Neither Singh do we have the power to cause to happen to us? There's nothing that we can do to make God love us. He already does love each and every one of us even the Bible says while we were yet enemies he put out the Plan of Salvation to draw so he he loved us when we didn't even love him, but there's nothing you and I can do to cause him to love us. He already does the other thing is we think that faith is something that we conjure up on our own something that we do on our own something that we have to mentally put our mind to and state is not what you think. And I mean that in two different ways, it's not what comes to mind. That's not Faith. Whatever it is. You put your mind to toward or to believe then that's Faith. That's not faith and we're going to talk about that deeper, but the second thing is Faith is just simply not what you think even in definition. So it's not what you think meaning in your mind, but it's also not what you think. Meaning what you believe that it is in defining it. And so we're going to Dive Right In and I'm only bringing up those two points because I run into that quite often when I'm talking to other brother other brothers and sisters in the Lord, they have this misconception of what faith is and it's really understand that I want to begin with what's called favor if we have an understanding favor in and see how favor walks us to Faith. I think we will have a better grasp on things.

What are we looking favor? I want you guys to start seeing with thinking of favor as the door. So when I say the door notice, I'm not using the phrase a door or defining it as a door, but I'm defining it as blood or the reason why I'm saying that is because God is the type of God not that there are many types of gods but I'm just saying that it that way because God is a person and so he's the type of person that is unlike any other person and what I mean by that is he knows how to Undivided relationship with us a relationship with us in such a way to wear that there is no distraction. Every time you go to God you don't feel like you don't have his attention. You always feel like you have his attention because of that positioning. Of the relationship every time God decides to pour out his favor upon us. He's pouring out the door that's necessary specifically for you you to be I noticed I'm saying the door for you to be favored is the door. that causes the grace of God to flow through

you are actually that which has been favored. You are the door. You are the doorway by which favor and Grace will come and I specifically should say how Grace is going to come. So favored is a door and staver is God's way of purposely choosing you to be the vessel by which he will produce Miracles so that others may know him. So let's get into this a little deeper. Let's turn with turn to Luke chapter 1 verse 30. It says that the angel said to her do not be afraid Mary for you have found favor. That is the Greek word Kata peace with God. I want you to notice something very simple that we just skim over will reading the word but notice it says you have found favor with Mary wasn't looking for favor. So, why does it say you have found favor? She found favor because God caused favored to be found by her. Are you going to read it? Read it a context of the story? She was nervous. You can read into the story that that she was unsettled and we know this because of the way in which her husband responded Bible says that he decided to put her away because she became they hadn't had any sexual relationship whatsoever yet here. She is pregnant and so he assumed that she had stepped out but I want you to notice. Oh my goodness just love her so much he decided to put her away privately. And do what you and I would do today, which is you don't make a spectacle of it and tell the world and put her on blast as we would say he decided because of the spirit of God that he decided to put her away privately Ed and Grace her with love, even though in his mind. She had stepped out on him for the Bible says that she found favor and so that was the beginning of the favorite number one Kim giving Joseph the kind of heart that he had put their number to there was something inside of her growing something developing something about to be produced. I was going to change the entire world. And so what God is saying is that which is inside you about to be birthed. that is favor You have found favor. You have been favored and when he says you found favor, you have found an opportunity for me to be able to use you as a door the door by which I will bring life into this world that will actually change the lives that are in this in this world. But let's look at this word favor and I want you to see that the word is translated in different ways and you need to understand that sometimes you will see a Greek word. Like this word Cudi's is translated as favor and disburse it can also be translated as gray said we'll see why there is a difference of translation. So the work Cudi's if it's used in the accusative case or in this particular context, it's used in the accusative case. I want you to think of it simply as meaning. that the object of the action and what is the action the action is giving birth. So there's an action that's going to come forth and that action in this particular context of Mary being pregnant. There's going to be a birth. Well she is the object. Of the action and that's why the Bible says she has found favor. She is the object of the ACT that's going to happen accusative think of being accused of something. So what God is saying is I had selected you or I accused you or I selected you I made you to be the one who's going to do this performance and it's the performance causing favor to come into this world. I have caused you to be the door. You are my favorite. You have found favor. You have become favorite. And she's about to give birth to something and because she is the object of an action and this word is being using the accusative case. It puts her in the position of being the one who found favor favor now upon her and she's operating in the capacity of favor itself favor is a noun which means a person place or thing. And so would we look at this favor? What is the object of this favor and Mary? Is that object?

Favor which is the Greek word Cudi's again. It's an accusative noun. I want you guys to look at it as the door through which God provides the miracle of Grace. I'm going to tell you in just a minute how to conceptually understand Grace, but for now, I want you to put yourself in the position of Mary. You become a Christian. You become a Believer, but there's an issue. Life isn't as Grand as you thought it was going to be when you came into the knowledge of Jesus Christ and you're wondering why things are the way that they are imagine the turmoil the pain and in the mental anguish that Mary was going through and Joseph was going through when she was found pregnant, and she hadn't done anything wrong. How many times have you felt the same way that you haven't done anything wrong? You've done nothing, but try your best to worship God in the best way that you can but here you find yourself in a situation to where that things are upside down when you feel like they should be right side up. I want you to start recognizing that when those types of things happen in your life. You have found favor. In other words. God is positioning you to be the door through which he will provide a miracle of Grace to this world. What is Grace Grace is the gift notice? I'm calling it the gift and not a gift. It's a good gift. And what is the gift that God is giving us. Let's go ahead and look at it in John chapter 1 verse 14 and the word became flesh and took up residence among us and we saw his glory glory as of the one and only from the father father full of grace and truth.

Who is the word that became flesh we know it to be the Son of God who is Jesus's when we read the contacts, but I want you guys to see what was he full-on he was full of grace, which is getting the Greek word Kata and Truth.

We look at Cody's in this particular context the part of speech that this word Kinesis is so notice the part of speech that it was in previously with the Bible says that Mary found favor the part of speech there was the accusative case parts of speech. So we're looking at Greek words here. The great part of speech is the genitive case in to make it simple cuz I don't want to get too deep into that. We're not teaching degree class. But I want you to think of the word genealogy or generation or jeans when you think of that you're thinking about a family you're thinking about something that spawns from you comes from you. As a part of your lineage. So the genitive case means something that is of or something that is from Will we see something in the genitive case? It expresses the relationship between nouns. And so when we go back and look at what the nouns are. Well then now and here is talking about the word. We're talkin about Jesus. And what is the relationship between the one and only from the father? Who is Jesus? Well, he's full of grace and truth. Grace is another noun. Jesus is a noun person place or thing these called the word in that particular verse there. So the word is full of grace and grace is coming from here. So it's expressing the relationship between two nouns the first now being the word which is Jesus and the second now being Grace. Grace is the very nature. Jesus his nature is to be gracious is his nature is to have Grace come from him. So just like he is the word of God. His nature is to be the truth is Nature's to be the voice of God. His nature is to be the logic of God. We look at that word for work that's translated back here and John 1:14, when you see that word and the word that word for word. Sorry. It's a play on words, but that word for word in Greek is actually log us. So we were reading it with the literal translation that will be there. It would it would say and the Lagos became flesh Well, the Greek word Lagos literally means logic in English.

but it would sound silly if we said and the logic became flesh and took residence upon us it even sounds a little silly saying the word but what John is trying to show us his way back in Genesis when God spoke and he started to create It was Jesus involved with him in the creation process. And in the same way there that you and I speak words and you cannot separate your words from you. You are the same you don't get to say something to meaning to somebody but then blame your words on it and you not be held responsible. That's not how it works you and your word are the same what John is trying to say here is in the same way that your words and you your person is the same. Well God and Jesus are the same just as if God was speaking Jesus is the personification of God's work he is what is logical to God. So the word became flesh. So here we have the very word of God in flesh the logic of God and that were or that logic of God, which is Jesus is full of grace. So what God wants to say to us and not only say to us but caused his word to show up in real form to us. It's going to position us to be able to not only see but to receive Grace because there is nothing but Grace in the word, which is Jesus. So Grace is the very person of Jesus Christ. Grace has been Define many times has the undeserving Act of God and when you think about what we just looked at, we don't deserve Jesus. We don't deserve for Jesus to come to this world. The Bible says in in the Book of John. I believe it's chapter 14 where he says father restore unto me the joy, which I once had with you so we know that he was with God eternally. Before Time began before all creation begin tai chi in God enjoyed a Oneness that you and I will come to no one day when we are with them. Also the holy spirit shirt. That one has the three and one where we get the the Hebrew word in the Bible where it says in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth that's talking about in the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the Earth so that he forgot there is a which is an actual plural word. Andy it's the the plurality in Oneness. And so the idea is that yes, there are three distinct personalities that can be identified individually, but they cannot function individually they function in unity. It's kind of like having in this is a very bad example because we don't have anything in the earth like this but think of a husband a wife and a child they are what they all share the same last name, they share fetal DNA they share blood they they share Oneness of the husband and wife come together from sexual Union. The child has both the blood and the DNA am I so you have this Oneness that is there and you can't separate them. When a person sees a husband is the person thinks. I'm the wife. That's just typical that's natural. You know, what you think of the the the way in which a relationship and marriage is supposed to be when you look at it. You can see what when this is they all go to the same house. They eat the same food as they speak the same language. Are they go to the same church. They do all the same thing. They they are one with one another and they do nothing separately. The child doesn't go over to the neighbor's house and start acting like the neighbor is their parents of the wife doesn't start talking to another man as a That's her husband husband doesn't start entertaining another woman as the as if that's his wife. They have a wonderful day Union that is beautiful. That is supposed to be in harmony because God is also involved. And so the whole point is that work Elohim is talking about the the unity and so we are undeserving of the word of God to be here undeserving of the love of God to be here where I'm deserving of the power of God through the Holy Spirit to be here and so by Elohim coming into this world through the person or the flesh being made for Jesus Christ, we now are able to see visually with our eyes and maybe. Us but those who live during his time of the undeserving Act of God and John is one who actually says here he is the one who we were waiting for for a long time. It's finally here the kingdom of God is now it had in other words what God desires to have accomplished and to do in this earth and have it ran. we supposed to be it's here so we don't deserve it and I want you guys to just simply see grace is is not a simply a thing. Okay, grace is more than that and I I don't want to give it away too soon list of us look at it very closely and I'll show you exactly what Grace's but keep in mind just like favor Grace's and sound it's a person place or thing and I'm going to show you in a little bit how to look at it, but I want you to think about this for a second is Grace. A person is Grace a place. Where is Grace Buffet? Keep that in mind RC Sproul. He writes God's grace is so powerful that it has the capacity to overcome our natural resistance to

Nobody was able to resist. Jesus is coming. PK nobody is able to resist. What God desire to accomplish when Grace is poured out it accomplishes. The thing that God wanted to accomplish know Grace can be something that has to be received. So I'm not going to get too deep into it, but There's different what we call that not what we call the Theologian. I should say call he'll come and Grace which means you know, we whether you're Christian or not, we all have a common grace us something we don't deserve and that is to breathe the very next day, but we're not deserving of that seeing how we all live weather Christian or non-Christian. The Bible says we all sin daily and none of us deserve to to have any of the places that we do have food on the table. They have to go to work everyday a car place to sleep breath in our bodies many of the benefits and so some Grace's you just naturally can't resist it. And so when God pours out his grace upon us it is so powerful that it actually has the capacity to overcome our natural resistance to it. Let's look at Grace. I want you to look at it up. When I was in the Seminary my dear friend and father also in the faith and Mentor. Dr. Troy Welch key shared with us an aspect of looking at Grace and a way in which we can look at Grayson this look at this Greek word Cudi's and let's look at it use a an acronym and that is the acronym Grace the G stands for God's The are in this case stands for righteousness the A4 at the sea for Christ and the E for expense. So Grace we can look at it as God's righteousness at Christ's expense. What does that mean? Well, when you and I came to Salvation, we receive the righteousness of God. What is the righteousness of God will the ancient etymology of the word righteousness actually was originally right wiseness, which means the right way of Operating in wisdom. What is wisdom wisdom is knowledge that is applied rightly. So when you have just knowledge alone, it doesn't mean that you're headed in the right direction because that knowledge has to know be used so I don't like the phrase. I don't believe in it the phrase that says knowledge is power. I believe that knowledge can be power when knowledge is used rightly, which means when it's applied rightly when something is applied rightly win true what they say truth. I was going to say true knowledge, but let's just say truth when truth Is learn and known that is knowledge with a truth is known and that truth is applied. Rightly your operating out in wisdom. And that's what righteousness is. So, it's God's righteousness at Christ's expense it in other words. Jesus died on the cross that you and I would be able to come to the knowledge of his truth and apply it rightly right here in this earth without the saving work of Jesus you and I would not have that in now. We become the righteousness of God. We become the vessels by which we can operate like Jesus here in this earth until we have his heart and this righteousness this right standing put us in a position to be able to be saved from hell. Salvation is a focus on hell. Meaning it's a focus on what you no longer have access to Salvation means you've been delivered or you have been saved from the Wrath or the consequence of God. And what all of you to stop thinking of of of hail simply as this place where God sends people is it and not even simply he doesn't send anybody to hell that is a misconception. What the hell? We send our sales to help and the reason why I'm saying is because he'll is a choice and you're probably thinking right now will how can I choose hell nobody with openly and blatantly shoes how well they will. Maybe annoyingly they show as hell, but they did choose it and let me explain to you why. Hell is not simply a place?

Hell is a desire of the heart? And I don't throw a mini view off, but I'm going to go a little deeper. Everything that you and I know to be good awesome magnificent bring us pleasure. God created us in His image. And when he created us he created everything and then placed Us in all of the goodness that he created even he made us. He said it's not good unless you know you there's more of you. Good for man to be alone. And so he created all of these things these benefits in these pleasures and these resources and then he placed Us in the world and then said I'm going to place more of you are one of you in the world because now there's a plethora of everything and everything can be simply enjoyed.

Well when you think about somebody who doesn't want to have anything to do with God. You don't get to say I don't want God, but I want his. Breath the breath that you gave me I don't want God but I want the health that he gave me. I don't want God but I want the the resources that he gave I don't want God, but I want the communion with other people that he gave you don't get to get the benefits of God without God. He'll can be looked upon just like a hole in the ground I many times as people Define for me. What is a hole and people struggle with that idea. The reason why they struggle is because a hole in the ground cannot be defined by itself. It has to be defined by what is missing a whole is the absence of something. Whatever was in there when that is gone. It creates a whole a whole does not exist in and of itself a whole is nothing that's exactly what hell is hell is full of evil in the Bible says that God is the creator of evil in people get confused about that as well. So let me help you cuz I'm sure you're one of them when it says God is the creator of evil is talking about Kim removing himself from a situation from a place from a a dwelling from a round. And when he does that all his goodness is removed as well. All of his love is removed is his his pieces removed. The joy of God is removed. All the benefits of God are removed as well. And all that's left is the opposite of God and that's evil. The Bible says that God created the Lake of Fire. Was Satan and his angels his followers and Jesus even declare that your father is Satan who was the father lies if you don't want to have anything to do with God so because you don't want God then the default is to have no God and to have no God is to be in a place where God does not live well or exist God created a place like that where he does not exist for people who don't want hat don't want to have anything to do with you. You don't get to say I mean think about this how Would it be God is supposed to be a just got unjust would it be of God for you to not want him and then for him to let you into his kingdom and you don't even want to be there? that's unjust that makes no sense whatsoever. So, you know what? He does. He creates a place. Where you can be without him because that's what you chose. It's what you want.

That's just what the consequences are of it. You and I understand consequences today, you know that if you go do something that you shouldn't be doing me of us. We know the consequences of you know sex outside of wedlock with many partners. We know the consequences it would do it anyway because there's a temporary benefit. So there are people living in this world trying to get the temporary benefit of this life at the expense of the Eternal consequences. We also know the the consequences of eating certain foods that we should not be eating yet. We eat them. Anyway knowing there are long-term consequences for eating those types of foods in this you literally could be sick for the rest of your life because you want a temporary enjoyment. There is there is a temporary pleasure in you know. Taking money from a company. I should say. I'm trying to come up with different examples to get you guys to understand but you know, if I'm in the Bentley money or shaving off money here money there in a company. Yes, there's temporary pleasure in that but what is the long-term consequence of that? And that's a federal prison you can go to so my people are doing that today. And they know that there was a guy they know he existed Romans chapter one speaks of how people suppress the truth about God in their unrighteousness. There's nobody on this planet who could say that there is no God if I were to say, hey, here's a glass of juice here and it just evolved it appeared. You would think I'm stupid and lock me up because you know, somebody had to make it but yet you look at the Sun and say it just evolved. No one made it there was no Divine person who designed it something greater than you think about gravity in the orbit and all the things that are necessary and how perfectly the the Earth has to be on its axis and in tilted and just everything the way the body is made is it all that's the Billy's and doing the things that we can think about just concerning the body itself how it runs and then the way we interact and run into people in doors are open and benefits that happen to us and just I can go on and on and on but the whole point Is this there has to be a designer in all of this.

into the nitty-gritty God's righteousness the truth that comes from Simply his word and his word alone is logical it is logic and win his truth. Is known by you you have the knowledge of his truth and you will allow Christ than to come into your heart by way of the Holy Spirit to penetrate your heart and declare that Jesus is Lord because you come to the knowledge of the truth that he has died for you and rose again for you with all power that you would be able to have a relationship with God righteousness. Is there any children to you as the book of Romans talks about it's given to you and because that righteousness is given to you in exchange because God's Wrath was poured out Upon Jesus God then turns around and pores in the righteousness of Christ in you so you have the righteousness of Christ in exchange for Christ. Take me up on the wrath of God for you. There was a great Exchange. I don't care if you think it's unfair for people to go to hell because you say here God is a loving God. He's what kind of loving God would send somebody to help to get he doesn't send anybody we choose to go there and he's so loving that he let you choose what you want to choose, but I want you to flip a coin over and think of this. If God is so. I'm just in a even allowing. That's not even say the word saying but even allowing people to go to hell. Well, then it's also unjust for him to allow a simple people who don't deserve it to go to heaven. There's nothing just about that either. We'll see anything right about me and all the things that I've done. I don't see why I deserve to go to heaven. I don't. I haven't done anything, right? The only thing that has ever happened to me and I am coming to the knowledge of the truth about who Jesus is in all that he did for me. I allowed the Holy Spirit to come into my heart. So like I Proclaim that he is my Lord and God gave me his righteousness here anymore. Even though I get send me the Bible says he sees me as his righteousness. There's a special place in me that God reserved and think of a kind of like as a ticket to get into heaven and I have a right to be there now because the spirit of his son lives it has nothing to do with me anymore. It has everything to do with his son and so is God's righteousness at Christ's expense Also. Let's look at Gracie's ask Dodge resources at Christ's expense it where we mean by resources. We also mean riches Louisa resources were talking about those things that are given to us here in the Earth. So just like righteousness afforded us salvation from Hell or from the lake of fire resources affords us riches from Heaven that we would be able to function in this world. We call that functioning in the world like Jesus we call that sanctification. What does that mean? God gives us resources or benefits or riches as we live this life as Christian he gives us these benefits. And these benefits causes us to be Sanctified. So we're talking about sanctification. So salvation is being saved from something and that's hell sanctification is being saved continuously from those things that so easily beset us and what I mean by that is there are sins that you and I commit that get in the way of the will of God for our lives Bible says in the book of Philippians. It says it is God that causes us to Will and to do or to perform for his good pleasure. So he has something that he's trying to get out of us and if he chooses Us by his favor To cause us to be a doorway for his grace to come through. He has to remove certain things in our thinking certain things in our heart certain things that causes us to act in a certain way. That is ungodly he has to do a work in us to remove those things of Romans chapter 12 says that he transforms our mine so that we're no longer conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that weekend then do his will. Show me the transformation process that happened and that's why the Bible says that we are always can or continuously being saved. So that being saved is not salvation Salvation was given to you. You're you're going to heaven if you have these in your hearts, but there is a being saved cause sanctification that's happening. Even right now. You're constantly being saved from things that don't allow you to function in such a way that you are giving glory to God. So let me give you an example you receive Christ at church or in your living room in your car. Whatever you declare that Jesus is Lord, you received them and you receive the righteousness of God in so guess what you have a ticket in to have if you were to die you go straight to heaven. Now. Allows you to continuously live every single day. He can't have you living with his righteousness in you yet. You do whatever it is that you want to do and go back to living your old way. There's a difference between righteousness being in your heart and

And historically thoughts being in your mind.

Thoughts produces feelings and feeling produces actions. So God has to go through the process of causing the thoughts in your mind to begin to lean more and more to the righteousness. That's in your heart. What is righteousness again? Righteousness is knowledge based on truth. That is a place. So the way God does that is he sanctifies you and how does he say if I use expectation is a resource it it brings about resources. And what is the resource in Romans 12, he begins the process of introducing you as you continue to live tobor and Troost when you come into the knowledge of and war truth. He then gives you the will as Bolivia says the way to actually perform that truth that is to apply that truth that you now have places that ability in you and when you have the ability to apply the truth that you've come into the knowledge of you are then Sanctified once you know something to be true and you experience that truth it is doggone near impossible for you to go back very very very difficult

That's like you know in your name once you came you were a child and what's your grew up and came to the knowledge that your name was whatever it was. You can't go back to thinking something different. Nobody can change your mind about your name. What you moving to your house? Nobody can change your mind about your address that is a truth that you've come to the knowledge of you. You have the riddle agreement. You have the the the title deed to the house you have whatever it is that you have that says this belongs to you. No one can change your mind because you came to that truth that you can be crazy at walking to somebody else's house. Even though you don't pay any bills over there. That would be silly of you. But how difficult would it be for you to change addresses when you don't own anything else but the place that you live how difficult would it be to change your name when that's not the name you were given. Can we go to legally and stand in the line and then go get our name tape? Absolutely, but you guys understand my point. You know what I want to take this these examples too far because no example is good enough to explain an understanding about theology or anything concerning God, but they come close and so just take it with a grain of salt the things that I'm I'm using as explanations, but I want you guys to see something you cannot or is very difficult to go back to doing something else when you come to the You don't get on a bicycle like you get on a skateboard. Once you come to the knowledge, but how bicycle is is is you don't get inside of a car and and drive it, you know, like you're riding an elephant simply because that's not how you do it. You came to the knowledge of how Carlos was we driven. So I hope I got the point across to you. God sanctifies your mind. He provides resources. It changes your life and put you in circumstances and situations to wear that you coming to the knowledge of his truth of the truth of his word the truth of his person. And once you come to the truth, you don't understand it clearly. He then gives you the wheel in the power to perform and operate and live out that truth you have now been transformed that word transform is the same word that we use for Caterpillar becoming a butterfly metamorphosis. And so if you look at the Greek word for that were transformed in Romans chapter 12 Arrange it. So there's nothing about the butterfly that remind you of the caterpillar. If I were to put a whole bunch of insects in front of you and you didn't know anything about the process that a caterpillar went through to become a butterfly. You didn't know anything about it. I put the butterfly in front of you and put a whole bunch of insects spiders and all other kind of insects in front of you and forgive me. If a spider an insect, is it bad? I just thought crossed my mind right now, but whatever type of bug is it called all bugs, but whatever type of bug insect or whatever I put in front of you and I put a butterfly that said which one of these came from a butterfly you be like what which one of these turn into a butterfly have wings are not colorful beautiful like a butterfly caterpillars are in trees in the area.

It is a moment that takes place as a moment where righteousness imputed into you but sanctification is a process. This is why many of you run into other Christians who are living the way they should live you shouldn't judge them. God hasn't Sanctified them in that area of their life or they have it allowed got to say defy them in that area of their life. Just like you have not been safe spot in certain areas of your life yet God continues to give you resources and put you in situations and circumstances to draw you out of that. And why is he doing that so that you can perform the work that you do before because there are certain send you can no longer live with in order for you to do what God calls you to do. And now we're really mess up your theology right now yet. There are other since he will never draw you out. If not because he doesn't want to but simply because those types of Sands number one they have No ability to get in the way of what God's trying to accomplish through you on behalf of other people. That's what the other thing is. If God delivered you from everything you operate in Pride and ego and you know, you think you're better than everyone else and what do I get this from Paul and in scripture he actually says that I was the Pharisee of Pharisees in other words that nobody knew more of the word that I did it with nobody more righteous and had more Zeal and loving and and worshipping God that I did. He said, you know, I'm a better Christian than all of you and I experienced more hardships than all of you need to list. His qualifications of of why he is who he is, but he also makes the statement in the in the scriptures where he says that he had a thorn in his flesh and he asked Scott multiple times. He said God take this Thorn away from my side of it is something that the enemy has placed here and it's something that brought him shame something that we don't know. Tell me what it was but we know that it was something that he wasn't happy with having and so you would assume that it's some type of sin. It's believed that it was some type of lifestyle or way that he was living that he felt like it it wasn't conducive to the character of Christ. But God answer is this and it's so fitting for learning right? Now. God says, my grace is sufficient enough for you. So what was a telling Paul there is Grace that I'm pouring out upon you and it's going to be enough for you to do when I need you to do even while you were dealing with that sin that so easily besets. She did send that. It just comes over you probably even goes on the right that whatever that thing was deadly that he was dealing with in Romans chapter 7. He says the thing that I don't even want to do I still find myself doing it. I have a struggle with this thing. And the Romans chapter I believe is chapter 8 he says thanks be to God that there is no therefore there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Why because Jesus brought about a Grace upon us and we don't have to worry about being condemned. Which means going to hell we don't have to worry about that. Even though we're struggling in this life that we're struggling in this life because God has not Sanctified Us in that area. Is it safe to fight Us in that area or cause us to be changed in that area or transformed in that area because it accomplishes one thing and that is it keeps us humble. When you know that you are struggling with something and yet the spirit of God the grace of God comes over you and your used in a mighty and a magnificent way to bring about change in somebody else's like you are anointed to be able to do that and yet you're dealing with the struggle over here. You can't do nothing. But give God glory cuz you know that you don't deserve to have been used that way. Let me give you some examples of David. David Bible says was a man after God's Own Heart. Now that that just sounds like superbly honorable and you always say hey, I would like to be that but guess what David also murdered a man after sleeping with his wife came the man. Because he got the woman pregnant. And when he got the woman pregnant, he tried to cover it up and buy it, you know, you guys know the story already David and Bathsheba. He sees his beautiful woman believe the scripture says he was taking she was taking a shower and you know, he sees or he looks down his throat look down and see her I had one of David's servants was in the armed services for David and he was on the in the Army like I'm calling it on me, but you guys understand he was a soldier and the whole point is David slept with the man's wife while the man was out serve David the king and the country fighting for the country and everything. And so when David slept with his wife at Shiva at Shiva ended up becoming pregnant David try to cover up that pregnancy by calling that she was husband back home and say hey come back home. Take a break. Get some rest be with your wife enjoy because he wanted them to Play together have sexual relations so that when her stomach gets bigger, it would make it appear as if that was his baby. You know, the husband's baby and not David's baby, but the man was so loyal is so dedicated to David that he said no my king. I'm going to stay out here and I'm going to serve you because I love you and I love everything you stand for notice. He even recognized the heart of David that God spoke up by the David being a man after God's Own Heart. He didn't recognize that in David and so he goes back out there on the battlefield, but David commands that she be put on the front line. Knowing that the front line is the place where is most dangerous? And so unfortunately, the husband is killed in the battle of the front line because he's killed David does this thing that makes him appear on the outside as a good guy? He takes inbev Shiba into you know his Harem. I guess it would be for him to his castle and stuff like that. It takes her to be now his wife to make it appear as if he's going to do the good thing. You know now that your husband died. I know you don't have anybody to care for you take care of you. I'll take care of you. It just means he he he turned his heart away from doing that type of thing ever again until he bailed on his knees and he has got to forgive him and when the baby was actually born baby was born sick and for about two weeks, I believe the Bible says he prayed and prayed and prayed that God would causes baby to be well and God said no and David said well since the baby's going to die. I'll see that child again. When I go to be with the Lord. I want you to notice something very clearly. David was Secure even after doing what he did. He was Secure in knowing that he would see God and he was even secure in knowing that that baby had a free ticket to Heaven because the baby had no ability obviously to know who God was there no cognitive ability to know that that's how the baby gets a free ticket to heaven. And so David then goes on with his life, but I want you guys to see something. Through Bathsheba David has another child named Solomon Solomon grows up to be one of the wisest and richest man to ever live and through the lineage of David and Solomon comes Jesus the Christ. Notice how God's grace came about even through the life of David and David had an issue with sex or sexual immorality. How do we know read it throughout scripture? That's the one thing. I have not been able to find that David even spoke of a when he spoke of anything. He he never spoke of his sexual immorality because he struggled with it. He struggled with it a lot and you better struggled with struggling with his second of the rally. God was never pleased with it. But I want you to see it didn't get in the way of what God needed to accomplish through him, which is to be the king. Of Israel it got in the way of him being able to build the temple of God because God said because you killed This Woman's husband you have blood on your hand. You won't be able to build the temple, but you can still rule my people. I want you guys to understand something everything that we struggle with will not be taken away from us and I don't want you to beat yourselves up. I want you to understand you are not to take advantage of the grace of God by was very good book of Romans talks about that. He said she do take advantage of the grace of God just because God hasn't dealt with you in that area and the answer is no you should have a sense of remorse. You should understand that there is something that you have done against God and you should ask God to give you every single day the strength to not operate in that again. That's what you should be asking for it. You don't need to ask God for forgiveness for doing it because he gave you for giving us over it through Jesus Christ. Jesus already forgave you on the cross. You don't need to crucify him all over again to get forgiveness in the Bible says don't do that. Don't crucify Christ afresh some version say you don't need to go through that process again understand forgiveness has through the cross of Jesus Christ forgiveness is once and for all you don't need forgiveness again, what you need is power over sin and he gave you need to ask God for power over the things that you struggle with not forgiveness. He gave you that power to repent from that thing and power to not give into that thing again. That's what we need. So that's why the long version of resources or sanctification. So we receive that type of Grace God's resources at Christ's expense. Lastly. I want you guys to see God's realm at Christ's expense is a full of grace and what we mean is heaven the realm of God the place where you and I are going to meet. Now when I say the realm of God, I'm not Talking about where God is I'm going to blow your mind. I'm going to move away from it. I just want to say I like doing this every now and then we talked about the railway to heaven but people always think God is in in heaven or that's where he lives or I'm going to challenge that your way of thinking and that is this Genesis says in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth Heavens plural and Paul is what do identifies for us. What is the plurality of Heaven is three it comes in three different rounds. The first round of Heaven. Is this atmosphere that we live in right now we breed are that is the first habit of the second heaven is the place where we can't breathe, which I assume will be like space what we call space or where the moon and stars and skies and all that stuff is where there's no longer any ability to breed that would be considered the second heaven and the third heaven would be the realm in which all of us will be in eternity enjoying the presence of God. If God created all three of those that have it's my question to you is where was he when he created? Because guess what heaven is not God's home. Heaven is a place that God created so that he will be able to meet us. It is a meeting place. That we enjoy Union with God. So I want you guys to understand the enormity of who we serve the the magnificent in the in the power of of who is our father. God is not in heaven. God meets Us in heaven. He enjoys Us in heaven. He created heaven as a meeting place for us, but God is not from anywhere else. He just is. I'm sorry, if that blew your mind, but it needed to blow your mind. You got to understand who who got actually is he is beyond what you and you and I can never know and I thank the good Lord that was written in Scripture that we will one day see him face-to-face and we will know him just like we are known by him.
