Scriptures about The LORD as our Fortress (Refuge)

 

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. (Psa 9:9 KJV)

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psa 18:2 KJV)

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.  He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psa 18:2 NIV, NASB)

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. (Psa 31:3 KJV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. (Psa 46:2, 7 & 11 KJV)
