Acts 2:22–24 NKJV
22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

1. Jesus, is who He says He is, and you know it.

The word that never confronts your human condition, the desire of the flesh in you, then you are not reading the whole counsel of God’s word.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 NKJV
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

we cannot Grow in denial.
In order for growth to occur, it has to start in truth.
we get afraid because we are afraid that people will expose and ridicule us. God does not want to expose us he wants to empower us.
2 Corinthians 3:16–18 NKJV
16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
God wants to move us into heights (depths).
do you want to stay where you are? or do you want to be what you dreamed?

2. Jesus was given for us, not taken from us.

Acts 2:23 NKJV
23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;
Matthew 26:24 NKJV
24 The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”
1 Peter 1:20–21 NKJV
20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
Revelation 13:7–8 NKJV
7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
sometimes I feel that Christians Don’t understand that Christ was not taken to the Cross, rather, he walked.
1 Corinthians 15:56–58 NKJV
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

3. Jesus is bigger than death. Jesus is bigger than whatever is “Killing” you.

Acts 2:24 NKJV
24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
in the Resurrection, God loosed death and it’s pains from Christ.
My aunt Just lost her husband on Monday, when i wrote this line I thought of her, I thought of the loss of fellowship that she had with my uncle. I thought of the loneliness that she will no doubt feel....
…Then I thought about the Holy Spirit that lives inside of her, I thought about the process.
many of us are NOT looking to participate in the victory.
