The Benefits of Righteous living

Proverbs 3:5-10

We find three maxims here with three benefits.

I. The First Maxim. Vs.5-6

A. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart.

B. Lean not unto thine own understanding.

C. In all thy ways acknowledge Him.

First Benefit:

He shall direct thy paths.

II. The Second Maxim. Vs.7

A. Be not wise in thine own eyes.

B. Fear the Lord.

C. Depart from evil.

Second Benefit:

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

III. The Third Maxim. Vs.9

A. Honour the Lord with thy substance.

B. And with the first fruits of all thine increase.

Third Benefit:

So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst with new wine.
