Glorious God in heaven! You are Your own first cause and so You are Your own last end. Lord, since we have our being from You, our reason tells us that all that we have and all that we are should be for You!
O Father, may Your grace, mercy, and peace be with these (in this prayer gathering). We long to grow in grace, we long to advance in our journey to be with You!
O precious Lord, You are pleased to burn off all the dross and scum w/ regards to our sorrows, frustrations, tempers, yes You, our gold smith, Christ! And we praise You, our Refiner, You make the metal purer and better, furnishing us with new supplies of grace!
Now may Your love in our heart cast a mighty heat! Oh Lord Jesus come and draw near to You people, help us to find comfort, and joys, as none in this world, except believers may experience.
Oh Father let our joy be full that (by Your grace) we’re able to hold our faces up the hill and toil through trials and temptations together, w/out fearing what man can do to us!
Bless these, Your people, this very day for Your glory and praise! In Jesus Name...
Let us rest in the truth, that when Christ arises off His throne that He will mow down His enemies and rest in the One thing necessary, Christ!
o Father, as we pursue sanctification, we pray and ask that You give us aid to see that this world and the things in it may not be sought or worshipped above You! Let us contend for Truth!
Lord You said, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” We praise You that You created the heavens and the earth for Your glory! We praise You that You’ve given us the sacred Scriptures that we might truly know You! Lord we pray and ask that Your Word would be our constant guide as a church body, instructed in sound teaching that we would exalt Christ and the praise of His Name! Protect us from teaching that sound pious but are snares of wickedness.
Lord, help us to contemplate the loveliness of our blessed Redeemer, which entitles Him to our highest love and affection. Lead us dear Lord to a sweet contentment and satisfaction of our souls in Christ.
