What does it say? - The main focus of this section is about how creation proclaims the glory of God. Verse 1 sets the stage by giving a summary statement that the “heavens” proclaim Gods glory and the “sky” proclaims the work of God.
The question that rises in my mind is how we know God exists. The author here suggests that you and I can know God, or his existence, from the evidence of creation. In ancient times this was an accepted proof. We are all familiar with cultures that worshiped a multitude of gods.
