He is not just a smarter version of us – He is totally other – different being – Holy

Don’t limit God to your understanding – Just because we can’t fully understand something doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

Predestination & election & God’s sovereignty - are all over the Bible - not just a few vague verses - it’s everywhere.

Predestination means that God freely chooses some people to be the special objects of his grace and thus to receive eternal salvation.

The word predestination is composed to two parts: “Pre” meaning “before” and “destination” meaning “point of final arrival.”

To predestine something is to determine beforehand where it will end up.

Does God predestine people to hell?

Now the question is, does all things work according to the counsel of his will include the final destiny of individuals?

If we have any sense that people are being thrown in hell who are not in rebellion against God but are lovers of God or they are repenting towards God or they are embracing God or they are somehow not in rebellion against God, that is just a foreign concept to the Bible.

The only people who will suffer are people who have been opposing God and are at the present moment in hell opposing God, rejecting God.

The scandalous thing is not that God would not save everybody - the scandalous truth is that God would save anybody.

Man’s will is free if he has the power of ultimate self-determination.
