23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Mark 11:23
1) Believe in the heart vs believe in the head.
Heart means the center of who you are. The spirit man.

John Wesley once said “that the devil has given the Church a substitute for faith; one that looks and sounds so much like faith that few people can tell the difference”. He called this substitute "mental assent". Many people will agree that the Bible is true, but they are agreeing only with their minds. That is mental assent and it is not what gets the job done. It takes heart faith to receive from God.

This can happen with unbelievers and believers.
talks about believing in the heart. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart.
You can acknowledge Jesus as Lord all you want. You can pray the sinners prayer, go to church, and give but that doesn’t mean they are believing.
Its those who make Jesus Lord from there heart that will experience salvation.
There are times were we think we are believing God and we are not. How can we tell? There are 2 major ways.
1) LISTEN TO WHAT IS COMING OUT OF OUR MOUTH. Why? Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Does our words contradict what we are “believing”?
2) ACTIONS does our actions line up with our confession
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

There is a difference between God’s Rhema word and His logos word. The Bible says his logos word is alive and sharper than any two edged sword. However it might not be alive onto me. When it becomes alive onto me is when it becomes the Rhema word of God. Thats when I’m believing it in my heart. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Rhema Word of God.
The Rhema word that God has been speaking to me lately is out of - seek Him
When the Word is real in our hearts thats when it becomes powerful. Thats the difference between shooting a gun with real bullets vs fake bullets.

Hope put it in the future.
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
How many believe that your names are written in the Lambs book of life? How many believe that you know without a doubt you posses eternal life now?
We need hope to have something for our faith to give substance to.
Faith pulls it from the future into the present.
