ya but is a reliable way to get an argument going. it is a stealthy killer phrase that creeps into our daily conversations damaging our relationships and making it hard to get things done.

ya but the bible is outdated

ya but im forgiven

ya but the teacher didnt explain it well enough

ya but i wasnt listening

ya but i dont believe in heaven
