Philippians 2:12–13 CSB
Therefore, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.

Ph. 2:12-13
Philippians 2:14 CSB
Do everything without grumbling and arguing,
Phil. 2:14-
Philippians 2:15–16 CSB
so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world, by holding firm to the word of life. Then I can boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run or labor for nothing.
Phil. 2:15
Philippians 2:17–18 CSB
But even if I am poured out as a drink offering on the sacrificial service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. In the same way you should also be glad and rejoice with me.
Phil.
We work out our salvation by living as a unified body in the church.

We work out our salvation by living as a unified body in the church.

4 Ways to Live in Unity
Recognize whose glory you should be pursuing (2:12).
Fear and trembling are indicative of humility before might.
This humble attitude should provide guiding perspective for our actions.
Embrace the power and purpose which are outside of yourself (2:13).
Unity is only achieved through a partnership in which God works in us as we strive to align with His ways.
Our abilities are infused with His power as we conform to His purposes.
Transform your personal attitude and corresponding speech to align with corporate cohesion (2:14).
Spoken words have tremendous power to either build the body or render it fractured.
Our words are a direct outflow of the attitudes we permit to consume us.
Only the individual has the power to determine his or her own actions.
Value the lasting consequences over the temporary satisfaction (2:15-18).
The unified body becomes a beacon for the dark world.
True joy can only be experienced when living in unity with the body.
We sacrifice our external witness and internal peace for the temporal pursuit of pride, selfishness, and justification.
Will you intentionally lay aside yourself so the sake of the unity of the church?
