As a postmaster, I am often required to handle phone requests. Recently I had a conversation with a woman who informed me that she wasn’t going to tell me her name, where she had moved from or what address she had moved to. She would say only that she had moved into our area. The reason she was telling me this, she continued, was that in case anyone was looking for her, I was to say I knew nothing about her.
