Introduce myself.

I’m going to share with you as our custom is, some thoughts to help you, challenge you and stimulate you find some real answers for your life.

But maybe if you are anything like me looking @ a picture like that created BIG ?’s.  /Whats out there?

Who made it all?

What am I here on earth for/?

Difficult questions.

You see, for me there was a time when I was acutely aware that although I could keep feeding my body, */my soul was empty,/* emaciated and in need of nourishment.

Up to that point I had been trying to satisfy the hunger of my soul, through /activities that OFTEN left my soul feeling extremely empty and dissatisfied/.

You see friends, I’ve discovered just as feeding your body with pavlovas and fast food everyday will have a *harmful “bubble”effect* - /so too feeding your soul with the wrong diet will also have a harmful effect on your life!

*Lets look at this picture again?* (universe)

Our souls’ have been created to connect with the one who designed what we see in this picture.

When our soul has */no connection with the creator/* it sends a message that says */"I'm empty and in need of some soul food!"/*

 

*God*: 

 

Look at one of Jesus Christ's key teachings :

*Matt 4:4*  Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God'.

We have been designed for *special soulfood* directly from the mouth of God! Connection with God.

The words of God contain a */life giving power/* that will change the condition of our souls when we feed upon them:

*Jn 6: 63 *It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.

The words that I speak to you are spirit, and /they/ are life.*(NKJV)*

Your soul has a spiritual component that needs the life giving power of God’s words to bring your soul alive to Him and the world He has made.

*Illustrate*:  e.g.

God raised up a prophet by the name of Ezekiel and takes him into the spiritual realm and shows him a scroll that has written upon it the words of God.

Look what happens:

 

*Eze 3: 1 *Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”

*2 *So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll.

*3 *And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.”

So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.*(NKJV)*

The word of God will fill your SOUL with a sweetness that cannot be compared.

The *soul of humanity* has been /raped/ and /pillaged/ by the enemy of God – Satan, the devil.

Have you ever wondered /why so much evil exists/ in our world today?

Have you ever wondered why you have experienced so much heartache?

Jesus Christ said  *Jn 10: 10 *The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have /it/ more abundantly.*(NKJV)*

*/Your soul has a thief, an enemy/* that will go to extreme lengths in order to keep your soul away from being filled with the sweet honey of the words of God.

*You see friends 23 yrs ago */my own soul/* was broken down, empty and void of any spiritual life.*

I had experienced a broken home, tried to prop my own soul up with fake additives – alcohol, narcotics, sex.

The more I tried to make the pain disappear the emptier my soul became.

This was not God’s plan for me or any here today!

*3 John 2* tells us of God’s plan and desire for the condition of every human soul:

 

*Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, */just as your soul prospers/*.*

*You:   *

 

What about your soul friend?

Is your soul prospering today?

Is there peace like a river deep down in your soul?

Do you have the residue of the taste of HONEY in your soul?

The God of the bible offers an invitation to us today:

 

*Ps 34: 8 *Oh, *taste and see that the Lord /is/ good*; Blessed /is/ the man /who/ trusts in Him!*(NKJV)*

 

*Is this possible?

Can we really taste God?  How can we fill our soul with His words?

What do we have to do?*

 

*GOSPEL*

 

My pain filled soul was exposed to a powerful but simple message that is the heart of the bible.

God loved me but could not have a relationship with me because I had chosen my *OWN WAY*.

I had sinned against heaven and a great gulf existed between mankind and their creator.

But God never designed your soul and mine to be in a place of isolation – separated from the WORDS OF GOD.

So he made a plan – he SENT his only son JESUS CHRIST to live as a man on the earth.

Jesus Christ came with one purpose and one reason – to pay for sins penalty by dying for our sins, so that whosoever believes on HIM will have everlasting life.

He lived, died and rose from the dead to triumph over death and destroy the power of death over the human soul to all who receive Him.

 

Friends the moment I got on my knees and cried out to Jesus Christ and asked him to come into my life – my sins were *forgiven*, my past was *forgotten* and *FOREVER* my soul passed from a state of death and decay into eternal life.

*Now* I’m in relationship with the living God.

The picture of space *no longer* fills my mind with deep questions but rather *MARVEL* at the handiwork of the creator God and my life is *PROSPERING* and in good health because my *SOUL* has prospered under the mighty hand of God.

 

*This experience is not for a *select few!

If you are here today it is not by accident or co-incidence but by DIVINE appointment.

*You are here to have your SOUL healed.*

You are here to receive Jesus Christ into your life and have your sins washed away.

Friends you cannot afford to leave this place today without TASTING and SEEING that the LORD is good.

You cannot afford to allow the *TOXIC poison* of the enemy of your soul to *ROB* you of the life God intended – not for one more minute, one more second.

TODAY is the day where your soul can experience the MANNA of heaven.

Today is the day where you can begin a brand new life with God and experience TRUE SOULFOOD.
