            My brother-in-law, a health insurance executive from Chicago, checked into a small motel in rural South Carolina.  Hoping to conduct business from his room, he asked the young check-in clerk if there were any suites available.

            “Sure are,” he replied. “Right over there in the vending machine.  But you have to use correct change.”
