They are NECESSARY at times
What/Who makes them necessary?
Circumstances?
1 Pe 3:17

1 Pe 4:19

They come in many FORMS - WAYS

2 Corinthians 1:8-11

Illus: How long can you hold your breath under water?
Some 86,000 times longer
How long have you been working for IBM? Six months

They serve a PURPOSE

We love him
We believe him
We walk with joy inexpressible and full of glory
