V1 - The Spirit of truth tells some will abandon the faith and follow demons
V2 - Taught by hypocritical liars - seared consciences - their right and wrong-a-meter is broken
V3 - Giving invalid rules to follow
V4 - Compared with everything from God is good
V5 - Consecrated by the word of God and prayer
V6 - If you show them up then you reflect your good teaching - be a good minister of Christ
V7 - A clear distinction between godless discussions and being godly
V8 - Physical training has some merit, training in godliness has merit in this and the next life
V9 - Trust the saying on V8
V10 - We work at this because we put our trust in Him Savior of all ref.
V11 - Both command and teach
V12 - Youth doesn’t invalidate the message - be a living example
V13 - Read, preach and teach
V14 - A gifted gift to exercise
V15- Be solely focused on these things
V16 - be on guard - life and doctrine - saving both yourself and those that watch - witness us
Comment from a non-Christian friend Jesus makes sense to me, the rest don’t - many Christians don’t act very Christian like - and this pushes people from Christ
