6 The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
1 Peter 5:7 NIV
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
A simple reminder today. In Christ you are treasured by God, live out of that.
We each come here today with our own fears and anxieties, our own thoughts that can distract us. Spend a few moments in silence and give them to God, thank him that you are in Christ.
Some of the kids coming today may be going through a dark valley. Their homes may be filled with words like…Divorce, Cancer, Moving, Job Loss. They may fear what will happen next. As leaders we have the privilege of pointing them to Jesus who cares for them, who wants their best, who wants them to live free from fear.
