Introduction

Eric Clapton sung a song that was released in 1996 from the album “Change the World.” One of the statements simply stated “If I can change the world.”
I’m so glad that when talking about Jesus the statement or question doesn't have to be “If.”
Jesus is a World Changer...
Scripture proves it by the ultimate sacrifice of our savior.
To be a World Changer you have to change the world.
Nothing has ever rocked the foundations of the earth, rattled the axis of the planets to cause the sun to refuse to shine, the moon to be the color of blood and awaken the dead from the grave like what the World Changer Jesus did over 2000 years ago.
The World was certainly changed. Thats why the songwriter could say emphatically “He’s got the whole world in his hands, He’s got the whole wide world in His Hands.”
Jesus is a World Changer
Not only did He change the world He is able to change the hearts of men.

Jesus is a World Changer because we have been Justified by His Death

Romans 5:11 KJV 1900
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Atonement
Leviticus 16:7–10 KJV 1900
7 And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat. 9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. 10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
Leviticus 16:
Leviticus 16:21–22 KJV 1900
21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: 22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
Leviticus 16:
Jesus did what no one else would. Romans

Jesus is a World Changer because we have been Saved by His Life

Romans 5:17 KJV 1900
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Romans
17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:51–57 KJV 1900
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
