I. THE REASON FOR THIS HUNGER
A. Hunger for God—
1. Hungry for His Word
2. Hungry for His House
3. Hungry for His Fellowship
B. Hunger met—
1. The condition, “Hungry and thirsty”
2. The promise, “Shall be filled”
3. The desire must be kept alive daily
C. Hunger brings strength—
1. Meditation, “They that wait”
2. Strength, “Shall renew their strength”
3. Not faint, “Run and not be weary …”
II. THE RECEIVING THROUGH HUNGER
A. His provision—
(The inner man strengthened and made strong)
B. His promise—
(Water and floods upon the thirsty)
C. His power—
1. The importance of this Holy Spirit
2. Power to live and serve Him
III. THE RESULTS OF THIS HUNGER
A. Fellowship with Christ—
1. With Him, “As He is in the light”
2. Christians, “Fellowship one with another”
3. Cleansing, “The blood cleanses us from all sin”
B. Spiritual power—
1. Tarry until this power comes
2. Comes through fellowship with Christ
3. A daily re-charge is needed
C. Our needs are met—
1. Our physical needs met
2. Our spiritual needs met
3. Our material needs met
