Not contemporary church-culture. Not the riches which are ours because of the circumstances of our birth. Whether you are Christian in Boston or Beirut, in Gotham or in Grayville-our sojourn is temporary it is the commitments of our faith are permanent. We are aliens. Immigrants, Migrants, Pilgrims.

17 And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile,
18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,

Excite: Please listen carefully. Jesus gives us permanency. Jesus gives impact. Jesus gives us focus. Jesus is a hero whose heroism is not self-absorbed. From the very moment that the Messianic dream was first dreamt long ago in Eden; Jesus' sacrificial ministry was about us.

Empowered Christian living=The power of resurrection disclosed though the unfolding process of revelation, resulting in our precious redemption obligating us to a pattern of
reverent living.
Oh precious is the flow…that makes me white as snow! Power in the blood! Not just to save from sin but to save us for living in the fallen world. To speak words of witness in the midst of all the debris and despair that litters our world. Jesus is the hero of our redemption story. He paid our ransom with His very own blood. This is our Gospel. This is our story. This is our re-birthright.
