Full Redemptive Potential
Full : completely filled; containing all that can be held; filled to utmost capacity:
Redemptive : to redeem, redeem means to to obtain the release or restoration of, as from captivity, by paying a ransom.
Potential : possibility; potentiality:
Full redemptive potential
Participating in all God has for Hilmar Family Church
Maximizing every area to facilitate Gods life change in someone’s life
Average churches get comfortable hanging out in the divide between current reality and ultimate potential
I see
Parking lot, salvations, baptized in hs, overflowing kids, Christmas is a week long event, conferences that change our community, volunteers, mortgage is payed off, giving $5k a month to kingdom builders, mission trips, 1000 a week in multiple services and campuses.
I do not dream of all these things because numbers are what I’m about, I dream because I want to change the face of hilmar, CA, US, and the world
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
Eleanor Roosevelt
We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.
Jesse
Life without dreams is like a bird with a broken wing - it can't fly.
Dan Pena
Dreams are the seeds of change. Nothing ever grows without a seed, and nothing ever changes without a dream.
Debby Boone
We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.
Jesse Owens

Neurological system,
When it’s going right you don’t know it’s there, when it’s not life is rough
Good systems function under the surface to keep things running smoothly so that you can concentrate on more important priorities.
What’s going to happen when I start exercising?
Circulatory system is in place, but it can get stronger
So it is with the church.

8 teams to know about and work with
Invite team
Sunday Team
Connect team
Grow Team
Dream Team
Leadership Team
Stewardship Team
Strategy Team
These are a part of our church whether we recognize them or not. What is working and what is not working?
A quick evaluation shows us that we are at the beginning stages of these systems if they have started at all. And that is what I need your help with.
We are going to focus on three of these that can give us the biggest impact right away
Inviting team - telling people about Jesus and the church
— invite cards, posters, invite texts, invite videos, social media, church app, blogs, training for church people to invite, evaluations and improvements, website
Sunday team - how we put on a service
— music, tech, prayer, greeters, ushers kids, training in these areas for new volunteers, evaluations and improvements
Connect team - connecting and growing first time guests into fully participating members of the church
Connecting with first time and second time guests, thank you texts/videos, guest bags, ‘giving’ thank you notes, get people into member classes, member classes, evaluations and improvements
i will be looking for team leaders with the heart and abilities to serve in their areas
I believe that by the grace of God, as we work these systems we could easily see 75 on a Sunday morning, by Christmas, 20-25 on the dream team, average
Joining one of these teams means this ‘I want to see a change in my church, somehow by the grace of God I can, and I will contribute starting at where I am and growing into what God has for me and the church.’
Here’s the truth about systems, they are for people. We are not getting people for systems, we are creating systems for people. People are always the highest priority, and a good god honoring system will always have people in mind to serve.
So here is what I’m asking from you tonight
For you to be a part of the 2019 Momentum Challenge
To come Thursday nights for a leadership lesson, applies to all teams, so that we all are going the same direction
After the lesson break out into our different teams and work on these systems for improvement and growth
If you cannot make it Thursday but would still like to be a part of this we can set up another time for one on one or maybe a group if needed, but at least a once a week meeting for these three teams, this can be worked out after commitments are given and we see who will be here
The last time commitment I have is to be at the prayer meeting. Prayer changes things. Prayer creates unity. God leads and guides through prayer. And the most important thing someone can come to is the prayer meeting.
The next part of the commitment is in attitude
Humble
Dream team players are humble. They lack excessive ego or concerns about status. Humble people are quick to point out the contributions of others and slow to seek attention for their own. They share credit, emphasize team over self and define success collectively rather than individually.
Hungry
Dream team players are hungry. They are always looking for more. More things to do. More to learn. More responsibility to take on. Hungry people almost never have to be pushed by a manager to work harder because they are self-motivated and diligent. They are constantly thinking about the next step and the next opportunity.
Smart
Dream team players are smart. They have common sense about people. Smart people tend to know what is happening in a group situation and how to deal with others in the most effective way. They have good judgment and intuition around the subtleties of group dynamics and the impact of their words and actions.
Joyful
Dream team players bring joy and laughter with them where ever they go. Knowing that God didn’t create us to be depressed no fun jerks, and knowing that I can effect others in a positive or negative way, Dream teamers choose to bring joy, laughter, and fun to whatever the team is working on.
Unity
Dream team players fight for unity of the church and their team. It is easy to be divided over small and big things. People who fight for unity are not afraid to confront and stand against divisive attitudes and actions in a Christ honoring way. People who fight for unity look to give out forgiveness and help someone grow in a way that’s best for the team and the individual.
Excellence
Dream team players aim for excellence. Dream teamers don’t work ‘just to get by’ and do a lousy job. They are always looking to make excellence the highest standard. Excellence comes when there is constant improvement and we will look to get better every single week.
So here’s the commitment of time through 2019
Thursdays at 6:45pm for a leadership lesson
After lesson, break out into teams for improvement
