We need to see his glory and we can’t do that unless we are digging deeply into God’s Word!

We can’t tdo that unless we are constantly taking Him in to our hearts and to our minds and to our souls.the

book of John helps us see who Jesus is and it helps us appreciate Jesus, and fall in love with Jesus.

David described knowing God as a thirst, a deep longing desire to know God and have relationship with like someone who is living in dry and weary land and is desperate for a drink of waterThirsty Soul, hear the welcome call: Tis a fountain open for allthere is an aching need to seek God and find God God can quench the need of the soul and nothing on earth canwe were created

NASB95that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

No other way or avenue or resort that you can fulfill that need, that whole in your life captive in Babylon who was a levite

have you found God in your life have you come to God and given yourself to God do you stay close to God like David and those springs so that he could drink freely and deeply of those springs so as to have life?Do you desire God that much?

sometimes I don’t feel like I am doing justice to this important subject.

I can’t think of one thing I want for all of us more than every single one of us to be in love Jesus.

To have all of our souls hearts and mind wrapped up and tied up and tangled up in Jesus.

Jesus should be our everything or all.

not a moment of our day should pass where jesus is not on our minds.

from th emoment week wake up to moment we fall asleep and yes even in our dreams Jesus should dominate our thoughts.

Maybe the reason we are not as commited to the church and the work of Jesus is because we are not in love with jesus.

Maybe the reason we feel so lost and helpless, troubled, frustrated, angry at the world is becaquse we are not in love with Jesus.

May the reason we grumble and complain and cause problems is because we are not in love with Jesus.

One book of the Bible that has helped me beyond all others to see Jesus is the book of JohnHelps me see Jesus!

OUR SONG TONIGHT IS A CONFESSION TO GOD, a confession of our complete, total dependence and longong for him, it is a confession of our souls deep longing and satisfaction is only found in Him.

I need the GRACIOUS LORD

GOd is gracious - merciful, forgiving, kind and compassionate

- context loving your enemies

we need his forgiveness for we are all sinners and we all fall short

DO YOU NEED THE GRACIOUS GOD?

I need the TENDER VOICE OF MY LORD

sometimes I think we forget how fortunate we are that we we have the inspired God Breathed Words of God.

keeps our way pure (9,101)

keeps one from sin (11,101)

encourages (14,16,25,28,35,70,77,92,93,149)

gives hope (43,49-50,74,81,114,147)

gives wisdom (98, 100, 104)

gives direction (24,105,130,155)

gives life (25,37,40,88,107,149,159)

and yet how many moments days and even weeks do we go without hearing from the very word of God.

Do we long for it desire it

I need the PEACE THAT COMES FROM GOD

Jesus made peace

Jesus death on the cross brings peace between man and man and more importantly

Jesus death brings peace between God and man

We can also have inner peace in God

DO you need peace?

God is where you can find it!

I need God IN THE MIDST OF TEMPTATION

We live in a world filled with temptation, it is lurking around every corner from the moment we wake to the moment we lay our heads down to sleep.

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of lufe. the world is trying to feed our lust and draw us, entice away from God with our lust

the schemes of the devil are all around us and without God I would give in to those tmeptaions

thats why we pray

depending on God is what helps us endure

Blessings come from temptations

do you deal with temptation, does the world seem to have a hold of you, you need God!!!

I Need God in Joy & Pain

Joy is found in God and is not dependent on circumstances

even in persecution

JOY comes from God and can only be found in Him

I need God in pain

all the works of men, the profit of ones labor

I need God or my life is vain

the whole point of the book of Ecclesiastes is that

all the works of men, the profit of ones labor, quest for wisdom, earthly accomplishments, competition, stock piling of riches, trying to please everyone, money, words, its all vain without God life is vain without God

there is nothing to live for nothing to hope for

there is nothing to long for

God gives us meaning, purpose and direction

I need to be thine

how can I become his child

I COME TO TO THEE

how can you come to God if you don’t know you need him?

If you don’t long for him
