when we are saved we are a new creation
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
when we get saved God starts to change us into Christlikeness
just like this man we cant change ourselves, Jesus is the one that makes us walk
if this man lying there on his mat not able to move, said, Jesus healed me, that person would be a liar.
so is a person that says he is saved and not living the truth
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Sin No More
Sin No More
sin just gets us into trouble
gets us hurt
sin eventually kills us
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
God does not want us to sin because he makes the rules and that is what he wants
no God does not want us to sin because sin hurts us
Conclusion
Jesus sought out this cripple man knowing he needed Gods Grace
asked him do you want to be made well?
what things are we struggling with in this life? do you want to be made well?
have you come to the point that you know, unless Jesus heals you you wont be?
if you say I have a plan..
Gods grace is available to you
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
