Introduction

We have had a lot of fun this week!

What is one thing that you enjoyed?

We have learned many things this week:

—God made a perfect world, but Adam sinned and therefore all of us are: sinners. What does that mean?

After the flood, man’s pride sought another way to God through the tower of Babel. God confounded the languages of the people and that was the beginning of different people groups from different areas.

All people are of one race and equal importance to God:

Revelation 7:9–10 AV 1873

9 After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Jesus is the Only Way!

A. What about other paths?

Matthew 7:13–14 AV 1873

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The wide road leads to destruction. What does our way to God lead to? Destruction and a lie.

Proverbs 16:25 AV 1873

25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death.

If what we believe is against what God says, are we correct or is God correct?

B. Jesus is the way!

John 14:6 AV 1873

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Timothy 2:5 AV 1873

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 John 4:14 AV 1873

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

If Jesus was sent to be the Saviour of the world, is there another way that God wants you to use?

Acts 4:12 AV 1873

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

No other source for salvation than Christ Alone!

John 10:9 AV 1873

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Go to God through Jesus!

Love Others

A. Christians are to love as the Lord loves.

1 John 4:10–11 AV 1873

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

B. Everyone is my neighbor.

Luke 10:27–29 AV 1873

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

—Next door neighbor.

—Next to me in class.

—Across town.

—Across the country.

—Across the globe.

Since God wants all people groups in heaven I have two questions:

Are you going to be praising Him in Heaven?

Are you showing your neighbors, no matter where they are in the world, the love of God?
