ARE YOU THE FRIEND OF JESUS CHRIST?                                                                 Jn. 15:12-17

Sermon in a Sentence: Because Jesus Christ is your friend you must be His friend.

                           The cross demonstrates His friendship to us. (v. 13)

I.  To Be the Friend of Jesus Christ You Must Have a Relationship with Him.

       A.  A Genuine Relationship- Salvation- Christ was speaking to His disciples. 

       B.  A Growing Relationship- Fellowship

             1.  Christ Speaks to Us- Scripture Mediatation (v. 15,26)

             2.  We Speak with Christ- Prayer (v. 16)

II.  To Be the Friend of Jesus Christ You Must Be Responsive to Him. (v. 14,12,17)
