Welcome
thanks to all who are there
special words to Vonnie and the Family
Today is short, yet the impact is important.
It isn’t the length of the service or the amount of people here that really matters.
What matters most is that Dave knew Jesus.
And because of that, he is with our savior and we who know Christ will one day see Jesus too.
And Dave will be there as well - part of the welcoming committee.
Dave was more a man of actions than of words anyway.
I suspect that he’d enjoy the few minutes that we have here.
Prayer
psalm 100
1 cor 15 50-5
:35-44

Prayer
Thanks for Dave’s life and faith
Comfort your people
Remind us to serve and love by faith
And now we commit the earthly part of Dave Folsom to the ground from which it came, knowing that his soul has gone and lives in fellowship with you.
Gone from our touch, he is now wrapped in your arms of grace.
And so we give thanks in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Burial (if the cemetery doesn’t)
Final word
Instructions and invitation to the light lunch at Church.
