Theme: Jonah prays to God from inside the fish. His prayer gives us a guide for how to practice every day confession, how to repent and how to talk to God in the dark. God hears us no matter how deep we go into the dark seas. Jonah points us to Jesus, the greater Jonah; he shows us that God’s mercy is always deeper so that we never have to go there. We have a new life because Jesus gave his own life for us.
