Like the hungry caterpillar, we're hungry but aren't always sure what we're hungry for. We yearn for change and transformation, and so we try to learn the right things and do the right things. Nicodemus was hungry, too, but when he came to Jesus he received an odd response: let it all go. Give yourself over to the wind of the Spirit, be born anew and from above, and see what happens!
