They want their own way, rather than God’s will.
B. Obedience brings God’s favor.
Growth is the natural outcome.
When we give God first place, we succeed ().
III.
Be Obliging.
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving …” ().
A. Members who are cold and unfriendly make others feel rejected.
Such members contribute to a church’s failure.
B. We should be friendly, kind, and helpful ().
This makes visitors feel welcome and engenders in them a desire to return.
IV.
Be Optimistic.

A. Discouraged and disheartened workers detract from the church’s image and discourage the attendance of others.
