God is Faithful

When thinking of faithfulness, a friend or spouse may come to mind. People who are faithful to us accept and love us, even when we are unlovable. Faithful people keep their promises, whether promises of support or promises made in marriage vows. God’s faithfulness is like human faithfulness, only perfect. His love is absolute, and his promises are irrevocable. He loves us in spite of our constant bent toward sin, and he keeps all the promises he has made to us, even when we break our promises to him. Here are some verses that describe God’s faithfulness

I am the Lord, I am the Lord, the merciful and gracious God. I am slow to anger and rich in unfailing love and faithfulness”.

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands”

“He is the Rock; his work is perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong’ how just and upright he is!”
