In all your ways acknowledge him. God wants us to acknowledge his presence in our lives. The best greatest gift that God can give us is the ability to see him regardless of our situation. It is what Paul says when he tells us to in all times rejoice. Paul also said that he knows how to be poor and how to be rich. When God took his people from Egypt he told them make a right and make a left. He guided them where they needed to go. It ended up being that along the way where God guided them that there were enemies and challenges, but God help them through it all. The process was to transform the heart of Israel to see God for who he really is.
the psalmist says that God guides us through Green Pastures, what it doesn't say is how he does that. The road of a Shepherd is often Rocky and sometimes there's very little food for the Sheep along the way, but the shepherd knows where there's plenty but you get there the Sheep must first go through scarsity. So when we go through the tough times we need to recognize thay God is with us and guiding us and that the end is good but that we need to keep on going.
Sometimes he needs to send the dogs to move us in a certain direction.
Pray for God to open your eyes. When he sets a plan for you no one can change it. If he wants to give you sometjing no one can stop it. He is powerful to do what he pleases.
There are many people like the Apostle Paul who are walking on the road to Damascus thinking that they are pleasing God, but God needed to Open the Eyes of the Apostle Paul so you could see God for who he really is. It's like David who saw God for who he really is.
