                              B.  Christ Made Himself Poor

                                  1.  He was Physically Poor

                                      a.   He was Born in Poverty. (Lk. 2:12,24-Lev. 12:2,8)

                                      b..  He Lived in Poverty (Matt. 8:20;21:2)

                                      c.  He Died in Poverty (Matt. 27:35,60)

                                  2. He was Emotionally Poor (Isa. 53:3)

                                       a.  Brethren- (Jn. 7:5;Matt. 13:55,56)

                                       b.  Townsman- (Matt. 13:53-58;Lk. 4:16-30)

                                       c.   Jewish Leaders

                                               1) Bastard- (Jn. 8:41)

                                               2) Winebibber and Glutton and Friend of Publicans and Sinners (Matt. 11:19)

                                  3. He was Spiritually Poor   (Matt. 27:46;2 Cor. 5:21) 

                           II.  Sinners Who are Poor May Be Made Rich in Him
