What Meekness Looks Like?
Some years ago there were a number of instances of homeless people being assaulted. A undercover police posed as a homeless in the area where these assaults were taking place. They had to catch the assailant in the act to press charges. All the police office was well able to over power the assailant, he restrained himself and allowed himself to be pushed around and assaulted.
The meek are not allays week but are often powerful. Meekness is not a a matter of limitlessness but willingness to practice restraint. So meekness is power under control. Meekness is not giving up but rather looking forward.

Meekness is the resulting behavior of one who is poor in spirit and mourn over their sinful nature and behavior.

The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied;
those who seek him shall praise the Lord!
May your hearts live forever!
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.
But the meek shall inherit the land
and delight themselves in abundant peace.
The Lord lifts up the humble;
he casts the wicked to the ground.
For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with salvation.
The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the Lord,
and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel.
