There Will be Glory after This (2)

Exodus 14:15–18 NLT

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! 16 Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground. 17 And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they will charge in after the Israelites. My great glory will be displayed through Pharaoh and his troops, his chariots, and his charioteers. 18 When my glory is displayed through them, all Egypt will see my glory and know that I am the Lord!”

On this week we had another shooting that took center stage in Ohio and Texas.... On this week we had Kim jung un .. testing missiles.. on this week there were another 2000 girls sold into the sex trade.. 1400 minority men found guilty of a felony and incarcerated tis week..

Several hundreds of families were destroyed by ICE this week. Mothers and fathers separated from their families. .. Hundreds of men.. women and children.. committed suicide.. because of anti depressants.. stress.. and / or because they felt like they had no one to talk too…

on Yesterday moring.. about 6:30am the news rang out like.. a bell girl in a wedding.... shouting .. the bride is coming.. the bride is coming… the news rang out that a man.. who manipulated.. raped.. and assaulted.. hundreds of women.. who just happed to be a millionaire.. and connected to other politicians and billionares… had died… in what looked like a suicide..

While 80% of poeple who hear things like this in the news ..may drop a tear… shake their head.. smoke a cigeritt… vap…and silently think.. and say… glad it wasnt anyone i know.. and keep on pushing throw thier day… thre is 15% that when they hear things like this .. they become so bogged down and stressed.. to the point they turn the news off and then begin to worry about any and everything else.... they have no control over..

but like the bible says there is a remnant…there is about 5% of people around there world and US that when they hear things like this going on....they begin to thank God… why because #1 there name is written in th elambs book of life.. #2 because know they know what to pray for .... like a card player who has a tell.... the once the devil… the enemy moves… if your paying attention.. he shows yoou his hand…

Have you every began to develope a prayer life… and after about a day or two.. crazy things begin to happen… have you ever made a consious deceision in your mind to better husband or wife… and then the other person in the marriage wants to act a plum nut…

have you ever said you know what.. i want to build a relatship with God… then all of a sudden .. some women or man starts showing you some attention… of all of a sudden things starts happening with your children or in your family...

III.

i just want you to know.. that.. its the enemies job to get you so distracted.. so off tract.. that you give up…

John 10:10 KJV 1900

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

we are living in a day where.. we are more in touch with our feeling and emotions .. than with God.. Just in case the person next to you .. is going thru.. is having a bad day..

tell the person next to you… Tell them the feeling will pass

III. text

in our text we have God telling .. Moses.. to tell the people to .. one version says move on.... another version says .. move forward..... i personaly like the KJV when it says move forward.. because if you just say move on .. to me that means to you can turn … to your left or to your right.. or you can even trun around… as long as your moving...

but if I tell you to move forward.. .. forward means .moving towad what ever is in front of you...

the Lord told them to move forward.. but you see the issue was.. there was an obstacle in front of them… that was nine miles long.... have you ever looked out and saw your destination…your dream... but the route you had to take to get there was unclear..

when i frist started studying the text I thought i was gong to go one way but. .. God began to make me look at some things differently…

Exodus 1:8 NKJV

8 Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.

..he didnt know what he had done… but he saw how God had blessed the childen of Isreal… and he said in

Exodus 1:9–10 NKJV

9 And he said to his people, “Look, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we; 10 come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and it happen, in the event of war, that they also join our enemies and fight against us, and so go up out of the land.”

these are nothing new… make america great again… its nothing new…

but for 400 years the children of Isreal .. was in bondage… so by the time Moses came back to egypt … the ones that new Joseph had been buried… just like now a days the anger and disappontment and confusion of not understanding .. the why…

the Why God allows this.. allows that..the anger of not wanting to except that this is the will of God concerning you.. for this season.. has flowed from one gineration to the next..

my wifes father actually came from a apostolic church.. but there was something that took place that caused him to leave .. until his last days and he began to reflect…

400 years of little by little… more and more people loses their faith in God.. because they had no one to show… to teach them how to believe in God no matter what..

you see if I was never taught the importance of reading my word… the importance of praying… the importance of the baptism of the Holy ghost.. the importance of salvation… how can i teach my children… if my children dont know.. how will my great ..great.. great grandchildren .. know that there is a God… That he can save their soul… heal their body.. and fill them with power...

so now we have … in Egypt… a generation that is so caught up in signs and wonders… notice i didnt say miracles.. because.. i dont belive in God the creator of the ends of the earth… but i belive in Ra- the god of the sun.. i belive in Geb and Nut.. the gods of the earth… i believe in them becasue i see this gold statue .. beause I was taught to pray to them..

so now here i am .. im out here with my family… and i have the tormentor and his army coming after me.. and the red sea on the other… and now your telling me that your God wants me to keep moving foward… are you crazy...

you see i dont beleive that any one knew how to swim because … they all stood still and complained… its just like it the guy telling .. terry to move… and backup when the firecrakers went off.... terry couldnt get his wheel chair to move so he just stayed right there.. while everyone else moved..

but the children of Isreal stayed right there…

IV.

moses told the children of Isreal to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.... Moses told a generation of people who did not know God .. to stand still and see the salvation of God.... in other words .. you came to far to turn back now…

i came to tell somebody to today… there will be glory after this...

it may not look like right now… you may have never trusted God for anything in your life....

i came to tell somebody.. that your here today because the prays of the rightous availeth much… you might be year because some made you come… but you were like some of the Israelites… your content right were you are… it made be a little difficult but its alright..

but even though you were content.. you cam anyway. and because you came.. God is about to give you a testimony of his power…

turn to your neighbor and tell them.. keep moving foward....

somebody is about to give up…

somebody is about to throw in the towel...

somebody is about to file for divorce..

sombody is about to give up on your dream...

…i just want you to know.... you have to keep moving.... you have to keep moving forward…because if you dont.. the enemy is going to destroy you…because if you dont.. your going to abort every blessing God has for you..

someone shout.. MOve Forward..

nOw speak to that enemy of doubt .. and tell him or her.... I will move forward..

i know its hard… you might not even know how… but if you stand still and believe God .. you will begin to see the way being made… you will begin to see the doors being opened..... but you cant fear…you have to forget about your past.. where you came from..

once you walk thur the door.. once you begin to follow the leading of God.. the Lord will begin to wipe out everything and everybody that was trying to destroy you.. trying to hinder you.... and when you get to the other side… once God is done .. others will see.. and know the power of God.... you will know an recognize the power of GOd....

and you will have no other choice but to give God Glory...
