Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
A. We Share In An Inheritance
Salvation -
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Righteousness -
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Glory -
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Holy Spirit -
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
B. We Are Qualified To Handle What He Has Given US.
Holy Spirit will teach you all you need to know.
He will empower you to overcome every difficulty.
We will give you strength to endure temptation.
God is preparing you for future victory.
Joseph learned to rule Egypt by serving in potiphars house and in prison.
Moses learned to lead while in the wilderness.
David defeated Goliath long before they ever met.
C. We have been rescued from the dominion of darkness.
Satan once had rule over us.
His desire is to steal, kill and destroy.
Hell - a place prepared for the angels who rebelled against God.
D. We have been brought into the Kingdom.
O
God has life and life more abundantly for you.
Enter in with style
Only one way into this Kingdom - you have to be born into it.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
E. We have redemption
Something given to receive something else of equal or greater value.
Redeemed for a purpose -
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
F. Forgiveness -
Release from the penalty of sin
