1. Helmets are task specific

We have all types of helmets for all types of tasks
What is the task at hand? TO STAND
We don’t advance toward the enmy - we hold the ground which already belongs to us. All the ground already belongs to God - we don’t need to take it back. We hold the ground against the enemy.
Helmets protect our most valuable asset
Mind (One’s consciouness, awareness of the world)
WIll (choices, goals, direction)
Emotions (Our feelings, empathy, compassion)
Direction

2. There’s no reason for an unprotected head

Ephesians speaks clearly of the whole armor of God. I cannot honestly say that I wear the full armor of God on a daily basis.

3. The helmet is required for success

We are required to wear a helmet
We are required to tell others to wear their helmets
In this case our helmet isn’t a “what” but a “who” Jesus is our helmet of salvation. In fact look at what the O.T. calls Jesus - Yeshua - Yeshua means salvation.
Do you know how to put on the full, complete armor of God?
