The People Complain; They want to return to Egypt
They reject God and want to return to their old life believing it to be truly better.
At the heart of their complaining was their rejection of God. This whole book shows shows a great truth for us today:
God is faithful to His promises, but will let His people walk away and face the consequences.

The promise of Jesus is that being a servant of him is where life and freedom truly is.
