The One Tree
The One Tree
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

OR...is it both is it the one thing the enemy hopes will draw you permanently into a place of hiding while God says let's use this one thing to create the undying bond that will bring our relationship together.

Temptation did not wait until the serpent arrived to enter into Adam’s heart. The moment God place before Adam a choice temptation’s root sprang forth from the seed of choice. Adam’s own free will was his ruin. Temptation then laid and waited for the serpent to come along and water it that it might bring forth fruit.
