Wealth and Money

As we approach this topic we do with our current lens on what money and wealth mean to us. So, the first step is to gain awareness that may be everything we know about money and wealth is not Biblical based but could be

cultural based,

family based and

experience based.

Therefore we want to be skeptical even of our-self and our believes on this topic and align ourselves to what God teaches us in the Bible. Be ready to change!

Now, the first thing I want us to note is that Jesus attitude towards money was not all negative or all positive. In one hand he told the story of the 3 stewards 2 of witch were good stewards administrating and creating wealth for their master and the third one that did not even put money in the bank to gain interest!

Jesus himself approved of a wise investment as a means of earning income (Mt 25:27; Lk 19:23), but he was concerned about the possibility of excessive rates which could be charged on private loans
