I want to get to the heart of the matter today. Many of us are struggling. Some of us are like are like unhappy, unsatisfied billionaires. We seem to have everything we need on the outside, but on the inside we are miserable and can’t seem to find peace in our souls. I believe this petition is of great importance because of all the petitions made in the this model, Jesus took time to elaborate on this one.

The Request For Divine Forgiveness

Jesus teaches His disciples to request God’s forgiveness when they pray.
Before we bring our burden to the alter, we ought to fix our issue with our brother or sister with whom our relationship has been altered.
In some peoples mind, there is nothing they can do to make right a wrong they’ve done to you. Only you can determine whether or not the relationship can or will be restored. Likewise you created a debt with God that you can’t pay and He decided to make a way to reconcile your relationship to Him, through Jesus Christ.

The Positive Results of Forgiveness

The assurance
God will forgive you
He will remove the guilt resulting from your sin and wrongdoing. He will pardon you.
What will he forgive?
Your trespasses- a sin understood especially as the action of going beyond or overstepping some boundary or limit.
The contingency
If is a conditional clause with the implication of reduced probability.
If you forgive others.
If you’re willing to stop blaming or taking an offense into account.

The Negative Results of Unforgiveness

Unforgiving people have not been forgiven themselves; those who are forgiven are so broken by it that they cannot but forgive others. Tony Sargent
In some peoples mind, there is nothing they can do to make right a wrong they’ve done to you. Only you can determine whether or not the relationship can or will be restored. Likewise you created a debt with God that you can’t pay on your own, so He decided to make a way to reconcile your relationship to Him, through Jesus Christ.
When you make it right with others, God will make it right with you.
If you do not make it right with others, God will not make it right with you.
