1 Corinthians 11:23–32 (ESV): 23 For I received from
the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord
Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,
24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and
said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in
remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took
the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new
covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it,
in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this
bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death
until he comes. 27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the
cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty
concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a
person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread
and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and
drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks
judgment on himself. 30 That is why many of you are
weak and ill, and some have died. 31 But if we judged
ourselves truly, we would not be judged. 32 But when
we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that
we may not be condemned along with the world.
Hebrews 4:14 (ESV): Since then we have a great high
priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the
Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

ALLOCUTION

Ephesians 2:1–22 (ESV):
1. I was dead in the trespasses and sins
2. I once walked in those sins
3. I followed the course of this world,
4. I followed the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—
5. I lived in the passions of my flesh,
6. I carried out the desires of the body and the mind,
7. I was by nature a child of wrath, like the rest of
mankind.
8. I was separated from Christ,
9. I was alienated from the commonwealth of Israel
10. I was a stranger to God's covenants of promise,
11. I had no hope
12. I was without God in the world.
13. I was far off from God.

DECLARATION

Ephesians 2:1–22 (ESV):
1. God, being rich in mercy,
because of the great love with which he loved me,
even when I was dead in my trespasses,
made me alive together with Christ—
2. by grace I have been saved—
3. I have been raised up with him
4. I am seated with him in the heavenly places
in Christ Jesus,
so that in the coming ages
he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace
in kindness toward me
in Christ Jesus.
5. By grace I have been saved through faith.
6. And this is not my own doing;
it is the gift of God,
7. not a result of works, so that I may not boast.
8. I am his workmanship,
9. I am created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand,
that I should walk in them.
10. In Christ Jesus
I have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
11. He himself is my peace...
by abolishing the law of commandments
expressed in ordinances,
12. I have been reconciled to God...
through the cross,
13. By the Spirit
I have access to the Father
with the rest of the Believers
14. I am a fellow citizens with the saints
15. I am a member of the household of God,
16. I am built on the foundation of the apostles and
prophets,
Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,
17. I am being joined together
with all those in Christ
into a holy temple in the Lord.
18. I am being built together with them
into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
