Read 2nd Corinthians 5:18-19

According to verse 18, who was reconciled to whom? What does this tell us about who did wrong and who was wronged?

Who did the work of reconciling? also, what role did we play in the work of reconciliation with God?

How does Paul define the work of reconciliation? (middle of verse 19)

What responsibility has God given us as recipients of his grace? (vs. 18-20)

What do you think it means to be an ambassador for Christ?

If reconciliation is a work that Christ does on our behalf, how can Paul beg someone to “be reconciled to God?”

What is the central message of the Gospel? (vs. 21)

Verse 21 tells us that Christ took something for us and gave something to us. What were they?

Do you feel like you have personally experienced reconciliation and peace with God? If you feel distant from God, or like God is mad at you, what do you think caused this?

What are some practical ways that you could be an ambassador for Christ in your school, family, or community?

What are some “close by divisions” that need to experience godly reconciliation? (Examples: fights with friends, or family, cliques in youth group, public school vs. Private school, Chic-Fil-A vs. Popeyes)How could you personally make a difference in these areas?
