WE GONNA HAVE A BABY Part 3

a. FIRST TRIMESTER

PREPARATION FOR BIRTH

i. It’s hard… Tired, emotional – senses are hightened, nausea
THERE ARE CYCLES TO YOUR CHRISTIANITY!
You Are Going To Go Through Stages
ii. God test mans fath, work and promise
There is a time and a season for everything under the sun
iii. Because your body is creating a placenta

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
3 Trimesters Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
iv. Nobody really understands what you’re going through/ private
v. This is the organ that transfers the nutrition for the baby to grow and be ready to birthred
Getting pregnant was fun… life was exciting!
BUT, Because of God’s love for you, he will not allow you to continue without becoming like him… Filled with faith and love.
vi. SPIRITITUAL
1. FIRST TRIMESTER Kicked out of the nest

2. A lot is happening

b. SECOND TRIMESTER
i. It’s hard… Tired, emotional – senses are heightened, nausea
ii. Because your body is creating a placenta
i. Energy comes back
ii. A lot of relief – best time in pregnancy.
iii. Nobody really understands what you’re going through/ private
iv. This is the organ that transfers the nutrition for the baby to grow and be ready to birthred
iii. Looking a awkward - clothes don’t fit
v. You know you are pregnant but there is not a HUGE connection with the baby
iv. Starting to show
b. SPIRITUAL
v. You start feeling the baby inside of you.
vi. Is there something coming – or are you just fat?
i. Honeymoon wears off and God begins to require you to grow
vii. Can’t sleep on your stomach
1. A lot of growth is happening
2. This is not as easy as I thought!
c. THIRD TRIMESTER [1]
i. Fatigue comes back
3. In the beginning of Christianity we don’t realize that we are all about self.
ii. A lot of discomfort
4. God has to allow trials to bring about the life of Love and Faith instead of self.
5. It feels like you are getting kicked out of the nest.
iii. Baby is growing and requiring lots of nutrition.
iv. Very uncomfortable
a. God, why are you doing this to me????
v. Belly is always in the way
b. Feels like you are alone…
ii. God Requires Your Faith To Grow
vi. Now you can’t sleep on your back

God Tests In Three Areas
1. Your Faith 2. Your Work 3. Your Promise
2. PREPARATION FOR BIRTH

1. God Tests Your Faith

a. NESTING/ Preparation for the baby
God tested Abraham,

2. God Tests Your Work

Every man's work will be tested by fire

3. God Tests Your Promise

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son.

ii. When we begin to live God’s way things get easier

You Are Learning Three Things
1. Surrender 2. Repentance 3. Obedience
1. Surrender…Not my will but yours be done
2. Repentance…Renew my mind to think ONLY God’s thoughts
3. Obedience…Because I trust you, I will do what you are telling me to do… even if it looks impossible
v. You begin the life of walking by faith and not by sight
c. CHURCH
i. As a church, things get easier because:
1. We surrender to what God was trying to tell us all along
2. We change our minds about what a church should operate like
3. We obey what God is telling us to do.

3. THIRD TRIMESTER

Truly pregnant…Faith is now your lifestyle… Now you know you are supposed to give birth.
a. NATURAL… Chaney
i. Now there’s no doubt about wether you are pregnant or not
ii. People begin to say…..How far are you along?
iii. Fatigue comes back
iv. A lot of discomfort
v. Baby is growing and requiring lots of nutrition.
vi. CONNECTION WITH BABY… The baby is strong inside of you and you begin to have a relationship with it.
vii. Very uncomfortable
viii. Belly is always in the way
ix. Now you can’t sleep on your back
x. Using pillows to prop up your stomach.
xi. Head is lodged in your hips.
xii. You know you’re supposed to give birth – you can feel it all the time.
b. SPIRITUAL
i. You know for sure you are called to something bigger than yourself…! A BABY IS COMING!
ii. You No longer fit in with the “crowd” You Are Different!
1. You look different- you feel different.
Born not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible seed

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
iii. A very difficult time!
1. Something needs to be birthed out of you, but it is scary and seems impossible.
iv. Playing with sin and living for self is no longer an option

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

v. The need for serious preparation becomes a reality
c. CHURCH
i. We are destined to make a real difference and everybody can see it.
ii. People out of the blue begin to make comments about our pregnancy
1. It’s obvious you are pregnant… How far along are you…
2. People who are not even apart of the church begin to sow into it because they can sense the baby coming..
iii. A difficult time because the baby hasn’t come
1. Uncomfortable because you know birth needs to happen but it hasn’t happened yet.
iv. Becoming less focused on the church and more focused on the people
v. I am in travail until Until Christ is formed in you

My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,

TAKE HOME TRUTHS

1. There are cycles to your Christianity
2. God will kick you out of the nest
a. It is for your good
b. It is for your faith
3. God will make it so that you have to grow in faith
4. The baby (Purpose) (Purpose) inside of you becomes real
5. A time comes when you know you MUST give birth soon!

MY RESPONSE TO GOD’S TRUTH

1. Are you willing to trust God with the cycles of your life?
2. Are you willing to accept that when God kicks you out of the nest that it is all about your faith.
3. Are you willing to let God teach you

c. Obedience
4. Are you willing to be used by God to give birth to his purpose on earth?
