Birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, gifts of friendship, special occasions gifts, Christmas gifts
And the list goes on and on...
We all remember special gifts that we have recieved over the years.

Sometimes things we incorporate into our lives
Sometimes things we put away, only to look at every once in a while
But gifts that affect us.

Friends and loved ones...
These things and so much more are a gift from God!
The Greatest Gift: Family
Family is the greatest gift that God has ever given any person who has ever lived!
Look at what God thinks of the family -

The first things God established when Adam and Eve where kicked out of the Garden of Eden was a family!
Why is this so important?
Family is the mechanism that God uses to insure the next generation!
God tells Adam and Eve: Be fruitful and multiply
God tells Noah and his family: Be fruitful and multiply
That’s Old King James English for “have lot’s of kids”!
Fruitful = make to blossom
The family is the garden that God plants children to blossom in!

The greatest gift that you can be given is the opportunity to cultivate a garden not of corn, beans and tomatoes…
But of children!
God made the family so that the next generation would grow and lead the next generation!
God put a special bond in the hearts of a family that protect each other and love each other and promote each other and protect each other.
To assure that each seed grows to its fullest potential!

The devil knows if he can destroy our gardens, he destroys the next generation

Alphin and I went to a fundraiser for ARC (the Association for the Recovery of Children).
Heard the gut wrenching stories of children sold into slavery in the US.
50% of them by parents or close family member or friend!
THE ENEMY OF OUR SOUL WANTS OUR FAMILIES!
So what do we do make sure that our kids grow up and be what they should be?
Be productive, contributing members of society?
Be spiritual leaders in the church and community?
How do we blossom as a families?
How do you blossom as a family?
Build your garden in/on the things of God
