Factors that Can Lead to Congregational Change

New leaders bring about change in organizational leadership. It’s not just that they can, they should.
Changes in surrounding circumstances that affect the people of the church bring about change.
Growth changes the church.
Conflict and Crisis will change the church. (Acts 6:1-7)
New Vision, whether as a result of God’s calls or the people’s stagnant position, also leads the church to change.
Change is important because it keeps the church working on itself.
Change makes the people look to their leader for leadership, and not just at him/them for an example.
Change keeps the church seeking God and searching for the gifts of its people.
Change keeps the church seeking God’s parameters for our future.
Change keeps the church from becoming stuck on itself. It is not our traditions that matter so much, but story of how God has moved his people. (Joshua 4:19-24)
