Introduction - a son of a wealthy businessman left home and was living on the streets. He was hungry, starving, and begging. His quality of life was way below what was within his means.
The father for years was looking for his son. He spent a large fortune trying locate his son. He stopped working and and could barely think of anything but finding his son.
One day the father walking the streets looking for his son, meets a homeless man who holds out his hands asking for money to buy food. The father recognizes the son and says “Come home, Son, all I have is yours”
1 Thessalonians 2:12 KJV 1900
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
Man who threw out an old Bible. It was printed by Gugenheim. It wouldn’t have been worth anything some man named Martin Luther scribbled all over it.
Worthy Walking Bears Good Fruit

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Increasing in our knowledge of God.
It brings grace and peace, life and godliness - ,
Grace and peace - live in it
Authority and power - walk in it
Righteousness - rightstanding with God to go before Him on others behalf.
